Shillong, March 30: The AdventuRers today distribute food to 208 needy people around Anjelee area, with the lockdown and the imposition of curfew to combat the spread of COVID-19 many homeless have no food to eat.
Many of these people told the organisation that they do not have food for the last two days; some had been having just one meal since few days. Everyone was very happy and grateful to get the food they relished.
The AdventuRers will continue this helping the needy in all this lockdown period till the 14th April 2020. The members of this organisation, Khalid Khan, Smti Ooma Tariang, Kailash Varma, Smti Susuki Pariat and Suresh Singh, were present while distributing food.
