Shillong, Dec 10: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Tura organised ‘Pa Togan Sangma’ Best Student Award-2022 on Friday at District Auditorium, Tura, Meghalaya. The occasion was graced by Dr. Numal Momin, MLA, Deputy Speaker, Assam Legislative Assembly as the Chief Guest and Shri Nanadro B. Natak, Padmashri Awardee,Organic Farmer as Guest of Honor.
The awards was given to more than 50 toppers of SSLC and HSSLC examination 2022 from about 38 Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools of the Tura region of Meghalaya who have excelled in their respective institution were felicitated on the day.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Guest lauded the achievement of the young achievers and motivated them to work for the uplifting of Nation. The State Working Committee Member Smti.Lekhi A. sangma spoke about the various activities of ABVP and mentioned how ABVP is contributing in the National Reconstruction by chanellisings the Students Power in positive direction.
The Guest of Shri Nanadro B.Marak speaks about the valour of Pa Togan Sangma and asked the youth to follow jis footpath. Dr.Reena Sangma, Assistant Professor of Tura Government College gave a shirt speech on life history of Pa Togan Sangma. The programme ended with vote of thanks from Shri Lebanon D. Sangma.
