Shillong, Feb : The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Khasi Hills District has informed the beneficiaries falling under National Food Security Act, that the Government of India through the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Department of Food & Public Distribution has decided to provide free of cost foodgrains to all the NFSA households; beneficiaries having either AAY or PHH card w.e.f. 1st January, 2023 till 31st December, 2023.
All card holders are hereby informed to avail their entitlement from their respective Fair Price shop, and in case any amount is charged by the dealer, they can complaint against the Fair Price shop dealer to the office of the Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Khasi Hills District.
