As citizens are returning, there could be more cases:Conrad

Shillong, May 31st:- Meghalaya Chief Minister Sir Conrad K Sangma today visited South West garo Hill’s district and held a review meeting with the official of the district administration to oversee the preparation in combating COVID-19 in the district.

Talking to the official the chief minister said that be prepared there could be more cases as citizens will soon be returning from Maharashtra.

He chief minister appreciated the official of the district administration and health department of South West garo Hill’s district,there could be problem here and there but this could be sorted out. The chief minister appeal to all to continue to work together to defeat COVID-19.

During his visit to Ampati,he also interacted with the team at Godalgre quarantine centre betasing in South West garo Hill’s.

On his way back from tikrikilla halted at Selsella to interact with local people in the market. The Chief Minister was also accompanied by Mr Winerson Sangma MLA.

During his visit the chief minister inspected the damaged portion of the AMPT Road at bondumali ,triki Killa in West garo Hill’s and instructed to the authorities to Immediately Start the residential work of the bridge that was washed away in the flash floods bondumali.
