Shillong, April 07: The Meghalaya BJP State Unit expresses thanks and gratitude on the occasion of National Health Day to all the Health Workers, Doctors, and Nurses as they strive to help others and we wish them the best of health always as they work tirelessly even risking their lives.
The President of the BJP Meghalaya State Unit Mr Ernest Mawri also request them to encourage everyone to maintain social distancing during the lockdown free period. The party thanks to all the traditional heads of various Dorbar Shnong Seng Samla Shnong.
They have selflessly worked and volunteered to help others in this time of crisis and need and also supporting the Government to reach the poor people with various schemes sponsored by the Central Government headed by Mr Narendra Modi. Arrangements made by them in their respective localities also deserve appreciation.
The BJP Meghalaya Pradesh, further appreciate the role of the District Administration, the Police and the Village Defence Party who are also leaving no stone unturned to keep vigilance on Social Distancing, Law and Order etc. during this Lockdown period.
The BJP Meghalaya, lauds the Central Government especially the Ministry of Health and family Welfare to support PPE Frontline Health workers in the State and also provide additional support of equipment’s to tackle with Covid-19 patients.
The BJP urge upon the State Government to generously utilise the fund given by the Central Government and support the Needy People through Schemes declared by the Central Labour Department.
The Party also urge upon all the MLA’s to utilise equally the Rs. 25 lakhs from their MLA funds to all the localities under their Constituency and also see that the poor people are not deprived in this hour of crisis. The State BJP appeals to the People of Meghalaya to remain indoors and maintain a safe social distancing.
