Shillong, Feb 06: The North East Students’ Organisation(NESO) which comprises of the KSU, AASU, GSU, AMSU, TSF, AAPSU, MZP and NSF, which is campaining against the Citizenship (Amendment)Bill 2016, met with Mr Uddhav Thackarey, Chief of Shiv Sena, in Mumbai todayon the issue of CAB 2016.
In the meeting the Shiv Sena Chief has assured the delegation that the Shiv Sena is against the CAB and will be all out to vote against the CAB if it is brought in the Rajya Sabha.
He also said that he shares the concern of the people of North East and on the issue of CAB, he assured the delegation that he will also talk to other political parties to seek their support in opposing this Bill.
