Christian denominations representing the Khasi, Jaintia and Garo community form the MUCF

Shillong, Sept 16: Today a forum is constituted by the Pastors and Lay Leaders of various Christian denominations representing the Khasi, Jaintia and Garo community called the “Meghalaya United Christian Forum”.

The office bearers are Chairman Rev. (Dr.) Batkupar Dunai, Vice-Chairman Mr. Tony TC. Marak, Secretary Mr. Synsharlang Kharshiing, Asst. Secretary Rev. David Marbaniang, and Treasurer Mr. Eric Brandon Nongkynrih; the Executive Members include Rev. S. Siangshai and Rev. Puhran Sangma.

The main vision of the Meghalaya United Christian Forum is building God’s kingdom by inculcating and upholding the core Christian values, defending the Biblical Christian faith and the welfare of the Christians.

The MUCF is committed to pray for the leaders of the state and the nation of India to be blessed with divine knowledge and wisdom in their commitment to discharge their duties in the administration for the upliftment and development of the country.

Besides, the MUCF will serve the Christian believers irrespective of church denominations and encourage harmony and unity through corporate prayer and serve as a prophetic voice to speak out boldly and intercede for the well being and vital healing of the state and the nation at large.
