Shillong, March 02: The congress leader Dr Mukul Sangma, with the split verdict given by the people in the MDC election to the KHADC where no political parties is getting the majority to form the Executive Committee the party who wins 10 seats as the single largest party is in touched with other regional parties.
In the absence of anti defection laws in the District Council the party with 10 MDCs is in touched with others party to form the EC in the KHADC. The leader of the Congress party thanks the people for reposing faith in the party in this MDC election in the KHADC.
This Election the Congress party managed to wins 10 seats more particularly from West Khasi Hills District, where they could win three seats, two from Ri Bhoi District and four from Khasi Hills one from South West Khasi Hills District.
