Shillong, Sept 07: The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Khasi Hills has informed the public consumers that Rice under PMGKAY Scheme for the month of September 2020, Channa whole for the month of July and August 2020 and Wholemeal Atta for the month of August 2020 is being released through their respective Fair Price Shops.
Rice under PMGKAY Scheme will be distributed free of cost at the scale of 5 kgs per head for AAY and PHH beneficiaries. Channa Whole will also be distributed free of cost at the scale of 1 kg per card per month for AAY and PHH beneficiaries. Wholemeal Atta will be distributed at the scale of 5 kgs per card in urban areas and 3 kgs per card in rural areas @ Rs. 10.50/- per kg.
Any non-supply, over-charging of rate, supply of less prescribed scale or inferior quality should be reported to the Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Khasi Hills District, Shillong.
