Delhi World Public School will open their Pre-School wing by April 2020 in Siliguri

Shillong, Nov 02: Aiming to spread world class education facility in NE states, DWPS steps in Siliguri Aiming to spread world class education facility for the students of North East region of the country, Delhi World Public School and Delhi Wonder World a pre-school wing of DWPS will start functioning in Siliguri from April, 2020.

This is their first step in North East. They have launched their website and prospectus officially on Friday at an event organized at a hotel in Siliguri. Delhi World Public School is a high quality K-12 school with over 79 schools established in 3 years in India and abroad.

The school is under the aegis of Delhi World Foundation, mentored by Salman Khurshid a former External Affairs Minister, Chintamani Rao former Vice-Chairman of Time Broadcasting Company.Smti Ambika Somi MP and former minister of Information and  Broadcasting and Sharmila Tagore and several others.

The Sadananad Radhika Mangal Charitable Trust of Siliguri has joined hands with the foundation to set up the school here in Siliguri. DWPS is considering a plan to establish a number of schools in North East in near future. DWPS focuses on co-curriculum activities like Cricket, Football, Music and Dance, as they feel that besides regular studies these activities are also of much importance for all-out development of the children.

Considering this, they joined hands with the MS Dhoni Cricket Academy, Madhuri Dixit Dance Academy, Shankar Mahadevan Music Academy and Bhaichung Bhutia Football Academy. These facilities will extend opportunities to the students to learn everything at the school premises.

In Siliguri, Delhi World Public School will function for Class III to Class VII students and Delhi Wonder World will function for pre-nursery to Class II students. Admissions are already going on at the school. One can apply online as well as by visiting the school’s office at Metro Heights in Siliguri.
