Shillong, Feb 15: Dr. T. G. Vinay, IAS, General Observer of 30-Mairang (ST) and 31-Mawthadraishan (ST) Assembly Constituencies interacted with the Polling Personnel during their 3rd Phase of training held on 14/02/2023 at Bynther Secondary School, Eastern West Khasi Hills District, Mairang.
During the interaction the General Observer emphasized on the important role of polling officers on the Poll Day with the Presiding Officers at the Centre of the electioneering process. The Observer impressed upon everyone the importance of the Mock Poll. He also emphasized on the importance of instructions and procedures laid down by the Election Commission of India. He, therefore, urged upon everyone to perform their duties to the best of their capacities.
