Jowai, May 18: The West Jiantia Hills police on 13/5/2018 arrested one drugs supplier identified as Mr Bringo Lyngdoh 37 years of Khliehriat village East Jiantia Hills District. From his possession the police recover 3 Grams of Hearion from the Namgdong village.
The accused was brought to Jowai Police station but he managed to escape from the general room in the wee hours as the lock up was under repair. A case of his escape from the custody was register with the Jowai Police station, Case No 79(4)18 under section 224 IPC.
The Special cells of the Jowai Police could trace him in Hailakandi of Assam on 17/05/2018. A raid was conducted in one house where he was taking shelter and arrests him. He is forwarded to court today.
