Shillong, Oct 28: The two day conclave Young Leaders Connect 6th Edition that was held in Shillong was concluded today where the Chief Minister of Meghalaya Mr Conrad K Sangma participate along with Assam MP, Gaurav Gogoi.
Speaking to media after the meeting the Chief Minister Mr Conrad said that this type of meeting is important to connect young leaders of the region, it may be from the business, music, sport, political or others to meet together and discussed and entrepreneurship is one of the major area that we disused.
In the meeting we feel entrepreneurship is so important not only for the Northeast but for the country as a whole, in the meeting in last two days more than 120 entrepreneur from the Northeast have participate it. In the meeting they have share their ideas and thought, it was realty motivates each other’s and individual also to start.
The Chief Minister said that this was only on the discussion mode but we have deiced to continue the entrepreneurship fellowship that was started last year and we are looking for state government to fund it and in the education sector we are looking the government of India to fund it.
We are looking that the product, made in Northeast to be used, we are looking to YLV writing to different ministries why not used the product that was made in North east if you are in the North East, this are the kind of ideas that will help the entrepreneurship and the business to move on.
