Shillong, Feb14: Expressing solidarity towards Women Education and Empowerment and raising our voice towards Violence Against Women, Aide et Action, Shillong through its iLEAD Initiative for Livelihood Education and Development conducted a flash mob campaign to observe ‘ONE BILLION RISING’ the Global Campaign at Police Bazaar, Shillong today.
Students of iLEAD programme enthralled the audience through a dance and placards which expresses a message to end violence against women through Education. iLEAD is an initiative that strives towards the upliftment of local youth through livelihood education programme, promoting micro enterprises besides moulding potential youth to be better citizens.
