Maligaon, Nov 24: Mr Subhash Ch. Deka, Assistant Sub Inspector of the Railway Protection Force from Barpeta Road while conducting joint checks at Barpeta Road railway station along with RPF and Commercial staff.
The Assistant sub inspection noticed one person by name Ful Chan Ali, aged about 22 years resident of Paikaraparavillage of Dhubri- District, Assam in a suspicious manner and detained him.
During the course of enquiries, he revealed as he is RPF staff of New Bongaigaon and produced one fake RPF ID card No 06/23508, dated.15.4.2019, issued by one Rohit Sharma, N.F. Railway.
On further checking, another fake ID card issued in favour of him as Sub Inspector, Crime Branch No. 173, New Delhi by Indian State Police Ministry of Defence, New Delhi. And one SBI ATM card, Certificate issued by Jamadarhat Gaon Panchayat was also found with him.
During the interrogation he revealed that both the above ID cards were made by him at Malda town with intent to earn easy money from public by acting as RPF staff in railways and as Sub Inspector in public.
The said person was arrested handed over to OC of GRP in Barpeta Road under acknowledgement for further action after adopting all the formalities.
