Shillong, June 22: Five peoples travelling in a Renault Kwid sustained injuries when they met with an accident on the 22nd June 2017. This incident happened at around 10.20 AM in Kyndongblah, 2 Kms after crossing Mawphlang before reaching Lyngkien Village in East Khasil Hills when five people were on their way to Mawkyrwat from Shillong.
On reaching Kyndongblah in the turning where the road is narrow, the vehicle that these five people were travelling in, went and hit head-on with a 709 Tata truck which was coming from the opposite direction.
In this incident three people Kiran Thapa 36 Male, Suraj Sunar 27 Male and Ramdar Lami 24 Male, all from Shillong, sustained severe injury and the other two victims sustained a minor injury. The 108 Ambulance based in Mawphlang helped transporting all the five victims to Mawphlang PHC where they were then refered to Woodland Hospital, Shillong.
