Shillong, January 12: The MCIC in collaboration with the Dorbar Shnong of Lower Lumparing and Dorbar Shnong Madan Laban organized the Foundation Stone laying ceremony for construction of Four Sanctioning Projects of PWD Road in the locality of Mawnei, Jumor Lane Road Laban, Dhobighat, Streamlet Road Laban, Rahman Road, and Bridge Point at Madan Laban which was initiated, recommended and inaugurated by the Chief Guest Mr Sanbor Shullai, Former MLA in present of Mr B Kharkamni, Rangbah Dong Mawnei Lower Lumparing, Mr Hamlet Rani President Madan Laban Sport Club, Shri R. G Marbaniang Secretary Dorbar Shnong Madan Laban Members of Dorbar Shnong and residents of Greater Laban and Greater Lumparing Area.
The functioned was presided over jointly by Mr B Kharkamni, Asistance Headman of Mawnei Lower Lumparing Shri R. G Marbaniang Secretary Dorbar Shnong Madan Laban, who have appreciated and lauded the initiative and sustained efforts of Bah Sanbor Shullai, Former MLA, for bringing various kind of developmental schemes from various departments which has fulfilled the long long aspiration of the people of Greater Laban and Greater Lumparing in particular and the 19th South Shillong Constituency in general.
The inauguration function was also attended by various Church leaders, members of Dorbar Shnong local NGO’s and more than thousands people of Greater Laban and Greater Lumparing area who attended the function are extremely shown their happiness as their dream has come true today after their long long years aspiration in getting this memorable new year Gift 2018 from Bah Sanbor Shullai.
Mr Anthony Marwein, Secretary, MCIC has appreciated and lauded the sustained efforts of Shri Sanbor Shullai, Former MLA cum Chairman due to his hard work and personal initiative that various Developmental Schemes has been selected, approved and get it sanctioned by the Govt.
Mr Sanbor Shullai, Former MLA, during his speech has greatly expressed his sincere thanks to all the Land owners of Greater Laban and Greater Lumparing Area for donating their Land free of Cost for the Projects and he has suggested and requested the members of the MCIC to monitor all the projects with cordial relationship and in collaboration with all the Dorbar Shnong of Greater Laban and Greater Lumparing and officials of PWD Departments as per specification laid down by the Department Concern for the speedy implementation of all the projects to ensure best quality of works for the benefits, welfare and interest of the general public of 19th South Shillong Constituency.
