Shillong, April 29: The distribution of NFSA and Non NFSA as well as Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKAY)- is going on smoothly in the entire state, said Mr Conrad K Sangma Meghalaya chief Minister.
As per currently available figures of NFSA and non NFSA – the PDS distribution of April is 100 % complete and for May , 2020 quota it is 33.14 % complete .
The NFSA rice is made available for AAY card holders is 35 kg per AAY household and to PHH card holders for 5kg per beneficiary of PHH card per head at the rate of Rs. 3 per kg both for AAY and PHH category.
Non NFSA rice is being distributed to households is 7.2 kg per household at prices in the range of Rs 12-14 as fixed by Deputy Commissioners.
Under PMGKAY under which 5 kg of free rice per NFSA beneficiary and 1kg of pulses per NFSA household is being distributed free of cost through Fair Price Shops rice distribution is 60.58 % and pulses distribution is 57.5 % for April.
This free allocation as per the scale of distribution will also be there for May and June, 2020.
