Shillong, Feb 13: The Governor of Meghalaya, Mr Tathagata Roy today flagged off the mobile van of the Start-up India Meghalaya Yatra from Raj Bhavan, Shillong in the presence of officials from the Department of Commerce and Industries, Shri M. R. Synrem, Commissioner and Secretary, Smti A. L. Mawlong, Joint Secretary, Shri J. L. Mawlong, Director of Commerce and Industries among others.
The Start-up India Meghalaya Yatra (13th to 23rd February, 2019) is being organized by the Ministry of DoNER in collaboration with the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) and the Government of Meghalaya.
Startup India Yatra aims to scout grass root level entrepreneurs in the smaller towns of India. The Yatra will provide a platform for budding entrepreneurs to realize their start up dream by getting incubated at excellent facilities and taking their idea to the next level.
