Shillong, October 23: The Chief Executive Member (CEM) of the Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC) Mr Denand T Sangma, said “I have not received any letter from Mr PN Syiem the CEM of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) on the propose discussion on Rul 128 of the AD rulses.
The CEM of the GHADC Mr Sangma said that though he has not received any formal letter, but he is aware of the agenda that what the CEM of the KHADC, proposed to called for the meeting, the issued need to be disuses in depth through the constitutional expert, since this is a constitutional matter.
“ I may call also an all-party meeting before attending the meeting proposed by the CEM of the KHADC, if I received the letter” but till date he has not received any such letter. This issued has to be taken deal cautiously said Mr Denand.
The CEM of the just concluded session said that he will call the meeting of all the three Autonomous District Council in the state as the issue involved constitutional mater and he explicitly said in the floor of the house that this issued need a consultation with the constitutional expert.
