Shillong, Jan 10: Meghalaya Chief Minister Mr Conrad K Sangma said that he has spoken to the Union Home Minister Mr Amit Shah asking him on the date for the meeting to discussed on the Inner Line permit in Meghalaya.
Speaking to media today the Chief Minister said that “ I spoke to the Union Home Minister two days back and on the phone he told me that soon he will fixed that date he will call me, I am hoping that will hear from him very soon, maybe we might get the appointment next week but he did not make any commitment about the date but he said the will call me personally to inform me about the date”.
The Chief Minister also inform that in the telephonic conversation the union home minister said that he will call inform about the date that he have requested. The Chief Minister has requested union home minister personally.
Mr Conard told the union home Minister “Me and my leaders from the state would like to you regarding the current situation prevailing in the state. The Union Home Minister said that he will get back at the earliest and he will inform me about the date”.
