Shillong, Sept 08: Meghalaya State Kickboxing Association (MSKA) confirmed that it’s 2 International Kickboxers Ibadarishisha Mukhim Class XII Student of Laban Presbyterian School and resident of Lumparing Dongsiej along with Nathaniel Pynbianglang Kurkalang a Class IX Student of St. Gabriel Higher School Upper Shillong and resident of Mylliem Mawri will leave Shillong on the 12th September 2018 representing the Country at the WAKO Cadets and Juniors World Kickboxing Championship 2018 that will take place at Jesolo Lido, Venice Italy from 15th – 23rd September 2018.
The duo after holding their National Titles for two times each at Raipur and Delhi National Kickboxing and Federation Cup have been finally selected to play for India for which MSKA would like to inform all Kickboxers of Meghalaya that it is only those who affiliated with the WAKO India Kickboxing Federation will be able to take at any International Events organised by WAKO International Federation in Italy).
Hence MSKA which is affiliated to WAKO India Kickboxing Federation in 2017 have no other choice but to inform all concerns that nobody besides Kickboxers of WAKO India Kickboxing Federation will be able to take part in such Mega Event of Kickboxing of WAKO International Federation.
At the same time public reception for the 2 International Kickboxers to Italy and others of MSKA will be held on the 11th September 2018 at 3:30pm at the Main Hall of Hotel Assembly Police Bazar Shillong. this is an open invitation for those who wish to meet the duo can do on the same day as mentioned above till 6 PM.
1st Meghalaya State Level Kickboxing Championship & 3rd State Level Kickboxing Selection Trial 2018 will be held in Shillong tentatively from 27th – 29th September 2018 for preparation to take part at the WAKO India National Kickboxing Championship 2018 which will be in Kolkatta w.e.f. 22nd – 25th November 2018 The last date for submission of fee and names of participants will be on the 20th September 2018.
