Shillong, November 03: As of 05.00 PM this evening 1202 persons have decided to opt out or withdraw from Aadhaar enrolment, that is between 30/10 and 03/11.
The members of theMeghalaya Peoples’ Committee on Aadhaar (MPCA) said that in view of request received from many to extend the date for withdrawal and after confirming with volunteers for facilitation it has been decided to extend the date for submitting letters for withdrawal or opting out up to Friday, 10 November, 2017.
At the following centres, that is Jaiaw, Shillong in Office of KSU
Central Body, Nongstoin as per arrangement of Nongstoin of
KSU, Nongstoin Circle and Mawkyrwat as per arrangement of
KSU, Mawkyrwat Circle.
