Shillong, January 23: Together with the rest of the country, Republic Day will be celebrated on January 26, 2018 in the State of Meghalaya.
In Shillong, the Governor of Meghalaya, Shri. Ganga Prasad will hoist the National Flag and take the salute. The Deputy Commissioners/Sub-Divisional Officers/EACs will hoist the National Flag and take the salute at their respective Districts and Sub Divisions.
This was informed by the Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, General Administration (A) Department.
