Shillong, April 09: Today at around 8 am, one 12-wheeler truck having the registration number NL-01-AA-5835 dashed one Sumo vehicle bering the registration number ML-11-5377 driven by Shri Kingson Salehe 30 years at Mawpun Bypass Road in Ri Bhoi District.
In the accident, four occupants of the Sumo vehicle namely, Mr Kingson Salehe the –driver of the Sumo, Smt. Moni Borah 24 years, Smt. Niti Jontimai Koch 50 years and Miss Nuti Moni Borah 17 years died on the spot
While six other occupants namely, Mr Rohit Giri 27 years, Mr Gautam Kumar, Smt. Bhanu Dey Talukdar 31 years, Baby Twinkle Borah 2 years, Mr Ram Patro 26 years and Mr Santosh Kumar Yadav 34 years sustained injuries.
Necessary formalities were observed on the deceased while the injured victims were shifted to hospital. After the incident, driver of the 12-wheeler truck fled away.
