Indian Navy  arrived in EJH District this morning, search operation for the traps miners resume

Shillong, Dec 29: A team of 21 persons from the Indian Navy today arrived in East Jiantia Hills District and the search operation resume to locate the 15 miners who were trap inside the coal mine in Meghalaya since 13th December.

Speaking to SP News Agency the Superintendent of Police of East Jiantia Hills District Mr Sylvester Nongtynger, said that a team of 21 persons including 14 Indian navies has arrived in the District along with their equipment including water pump.

The Indian Navy team is on the site and they are on the job for the search operation, the Superintendent of Police said that he is hopeful that the traps miner inside the mine will be located with the help of the Indian navy.

The National Disaster Response Force personnel (NDRFP) who were supervising the operation brief the Indian Navy on the ground situation. There are tem water pump that was brought and the preparation are on and the rescued operation can be started at any time said the Superintendent of Police of East Jiantia Hills District.
