Shillong, August 28: Mr Sanbor Shullai-MLA cum Chairman of MCIC 19th South Shillong Constituency lead a delegation and conducted a joint inspection with the top official and Technical Engineers of PHE Department along with the Rangbah Shnong,Secretary Shnong members of three Dorbar Shnong of Upper Lumparing,Lower Lumparingand Kynjat Phutbol-Riat Laban at Wahrisa water source Lumparing for the propose construction of Mini Dam for water reservoir.
A joint inspection has plan the construction of Mini Dam for an additional water supply for the requirement of the residents of Greater Lumparing Area due to the growth of population and day by day increase of Residential Buildings.
The Local MLA assured the delegation that he would take up the matter with the Govt. as this is a very vital and essential Scheme for the interest and benefit of the general public of the area in the near future.
