Joint Multi specialty Medical camp of Indo-Bangla concluded day at Tamabil in Bangladesh

Shillong, May 12: The Joint Multispecialty Medical camp today was held at Tamabil in the Bangladesh side. In this Indo-Bangla free medical camp more than 650 people from the Bangladesh side has come to avail this facilities that was given to the people of Bangladesh today.

In this Composite Hospital BSF Shillong representing Indian side with 07 doctors of different specialties and 10 doctors from BGB organized the same medical camp at Tamabil for the border population of Bangladesh side. Camp was inaugurated Dr A C Bhardwajan, DIG and Medical Superintendent, BSF Composite Hospital Shillong in the presence of Sector Commander BGB Mr Nasir and Mr D P Tokas, Sector Commander of BSF.

The numbers of people who come to the camp are 650 out of which  80 were children were checked by the paediatrician, 155 were  female were checked by Gynaecologist, surgical checkup for 140 was done in the camp were Civil population.

Around 130 numbers of civil population were checked by medical specialist and 145 numbers of civil population were screened by general physician and 01 lady doctor. Besides these facilities today the BSF medical team also organized screening camp for diabetes and Hepatitis B & C.

All the 650 nos of male, female and children were screened and provided medication alongwith the suitable advices. The multispecialty medical team of Composite Hospital BSF Shillong was headed by Dr A C Bhardwajan, DIG(Med)/MS comprising specialists from the field of surgery, medical specialist, Gynaecologist, Paeditrician and general physician including 01 lady doctor.
