Shillong, July 26: The Jugalies who were agitating at the main gate of the Meghalaya Electrical Corporation Limited at Lum jingshai is entering third day today, but after getting in writing that the list of the candidate for appointment as Jugalies has been revalidated for another period of 6 months they have withdraw their sit in demonstration.
As per the notification issued today from the MeECL sign by the Joint Secretary Mr D Warjri said that “In pursuance to board of Directors resolution No.3 date 7.07.2017, the notification number MeECL/RC/137/2011/121 date 01.8.2016 notifying the list of candidates for appointment as jugalies which is due to expired on 01.08.2017, is herby revalidated for another period of 6 Months that is up to 31.01.2018. the notification was sign by Mr D Warjri Joint Secretary”.
