Shillong, August 19: The Principal Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Labour Department, has informed that the Minimum Wages payable to the employees under the 29 Schedule of Employments has been revised with effect from 1st April, 2019.
The Minimum Wage + Variable Dearness Allowance per day is Rs. 300.00 + Rs. 14.00 = Rs. 314.00/- for Unskilled, Rs. 340.00 + Rs. 16.00 = Rs. 356.00/- for Semi-skilled, Rs. 380.00 + Rs. 18.00 = Rs. 398.00/- for Skilled and Rs. 420.00 + Rs. 19.00 = Rs. 439.00/- for Highly-skilled.
