Meghalaya Budget Session to commence from 13 March, there will be 10 working days

Shillong, Feb 24: The Budget Session of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly for the financial year 2020-21 will commence from 13th March and will be over by 26 March 2020. There will be 10 working Days.

The Governor of Meghalaya will address the house on the 13th March, and the budget estimate will be presented in the floor of the house on the 18th March by the Chief Minister who is holding finance portfolio and the budget will be pass on the 26th March.

In this budget session, out of 10 working days, seven days earmark for government business and three days earmark for private members business, said Dr Andrew Simons Commissioner and Secretary of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly.
