Shillong, April 15: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma today expressed his deepest condolence to the bereaved family members of the first Covid19 patient, who passed away at 2:45 am today.
“I would like to take this opportunity, first of all, to express my deepest condolences to the bereaved family. I know that the family is going through a very tough time and I would like to say that may God give all the strength to them during this trying times to bear all this pain and difficulty,” said the Chief Minister in his message to the citizens via Facebook post published in CMO Meghalaya Official.
Mr Metbah Lyngdoh, Speaker, Meghalaya Legislative Assembly, has expressed deep shock and sorrow on the passing away today of Dr John Sailo Ryntathiang, renowned Doctor and philanthropist.
In his Condolence message, the Speaker said that (L) Dr John Sailo Ryntathiang will always be remembered for his amiable nature and service to the people of the State. He prayed that the Almighty will give the family of (L) Dr John Sailo Ryntathiang strength and fortitude to face this tragic loss.
