Shillong, Oct 16: Meghalaya Chief Minister Mr Conrad K Sangma today speak to the Union Home Minister Mr Amit Shah and Union Home secretary and had a discussion on the arrest of Rev Father Stan Swami by the National Investigation Agency.
The Deputy Chief Minister Mr Prestone Tynsong inform that the Chief Minister has discussed with the Union Home Minister, the Union Home secretary on the arrest of Rev Father Stan Swami and the discussion is non have to gave justice to the priest.
The Friends of Jesuits congregation along with representatives of the Catholic Association, Shillong met with the Chief Minister Mr Conrad K Sangma on Thursday and handed a letter to appeal to him to speak to the Prime Minster and the Home Minister and to request them to release Fr. Stan Swami on humanitarian ground and also to squash all allegations against him.
