Shillong, December 25: The faithful Christian all over the world observed the 25th December as the Christmas day to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ who come into this world to redeem the human race from sin, this the faith that was upheld by the Christian community.
In the Shillong city, it was notice that all churches of different Christian denomination decorated their churches in this season of Christmas, the season of Joy to well come new born Jesus into to this world, Christmas it to commemorate coming of Jesus Christ into this world.
The Christmas celebration this year has got more meaningful since the head of the state the governor of Meghalaya Mr V. Shanmuganathan himself attended in the Christmas service at Laitumkhrah Presbyterian Church, Shillong on 25th December, 2016.
