Shillong, March 20: The Meghalaya Legislative Assembly today discussed on the motion move by Mr Process T Sawkmie Congress MLA and Mr SK Sunn an Independent MLA on the unemployment problems face in the state.
Participating on the motion, the leader of the opposition Dr Mukul Sangma said that, the unemployment problem is a global issued, and this problem shared by our country and the state, the leader of the opposition in the course of his debate assured the house that they will work together to tackle this problem.
Mr Saleng Sangma from the NCP, participating on the motion said that precious “ We have talking Government and thinking government, but we have not solved the problems” . He said if we do not look into the youth they will join militant or become robbers.He said that he want the present chief minister tobe thinking Government and educate the youth.
The NPP MLA, Mr Thomas Sangma, while participated in the debate he said that that government should look both the employment in the government that thing should be done in proper manner and to remove the mist management.
Many speakers who participate in the debate, made many suggestion to the government to enable the youth of the state to get employment both in the government and private sector or they many take up their own business.
Other who participate in the debate are Mr Charles Pyngrope, Smti Ampareen Lyngdoh, Zenith Sangma all are from the Congress.Mr Adelbert Nongrum from KHNAM, Renikton L Tongkhar from the HSPDP.
