Meghalaya police appeal not to circulate vandalised Marok Ancholic Mahamaya Mandir

Shillong, August 29:Meghalaya police  informed that, pertaining to the incident which transpired in Selsella whereby some unknown miscreants had vandalised the Marok Ancholic Mahamaya Mandir at Merenggapara village.

The Dy. Inspector General of Police (WR) and the Superintendent of Police, West Garo Hills, Tura inspected the place of occurrence so as to closely monitor the issue and to supervise in order the investigation.

The Investigating team investigating Tura PS case no 105 (8)2020 u/s 153 A/295 IPC is registered are putting all efforts into ascertaining the facts and circumstances of the case, and most importantly to arrest those involved in desecrating act.

The department once again appeals to all the citizens to refrain from circulating Or sharing any misinformation on this matter and to also not fall victim to any rumors or false news that are being circulated.
