Meghalaya police organized mini marathon ‘Run For Unity”  in Shillong City today

Shillong, Nov 03: The Meghalaya police today organized mini marathon   “Run for Unity” today in Shillong City by the office of the superintendent of police East Khasi Hills District 2018, supported by the Laitumkhrah Trafic Branch.

The mini marathon was flagged off by Superintendent of Police, City Mr S. Rynjah, where the Meghalaya Health Minister Mr AL Hek and the local MLA Smti Ampareen Lyngdoh and Mr DK Prasad DSP headquater were present.

The participant in the mini marathon ‘Run for Unity’ were about 700 were taking part, the winners of the marathon was given with trophies and all participants were given with certificate. In the marathon the winners were categories into two groups, School Children’s and open category.

In the School category, from the girls, the winner is, Miss Mercy Kanai, second Miss Chitra Malik and third is Miss Aithun Lyngdoh. Boy’s category the winner is Mr Khrusakhiat Bareh, second Mr Michael Sati and third Mr Mostarfiled Rani.

There six people from the school category who were awarded with consolation prize, Miss Emmiwaka Shadap, Miss Careen War, Miss Manisha Kumar Rai, Mr Rithull Kshir, Mr Evansius Nongrum and Mr Rakesh Kumar.

In the open category, the winners in the female category are, Smti Omen Poloh, Smti Florika Swer and Smti Chubi Marak and the Male category are Mr Emphous Nongrum, Mr Daniel Wahlang and Mr Samanki Bareh.
