Shillong, August 07: Mr Metbah Lyngdoh, Speaker of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly, has expressed deep shock and sorrow on the untimely demise of late Mr Hispreaching Son Shylla, former Member of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly.
Condoling his death, the Speaker said that late Hispreaching Son Shyll a will be remembered as a grass root political leader with extraordinary sensitivity to the people’s needs. He left an indelible mark in all the public offices he occupied, The Hon’ble Speaker has expressed his deepest sympathies to the bereaved family.
The Meghalaya Legislative Assembly Secretariat officers and staff deeply mourn the untimely demise of late Mr Hispreaching Son Shylla, former Member, Meghalaya Legislative Assembly.
Late Mr. Hispreaching Son Shylla was an active Legislator and known for his fiery speeches in the House. He was a strong voice in the Assembly whose speeches were keenly heard across the political spectrum. As Deputy Speaker, he left an indelible mark and always receptive to the grievances of the employees and Members.
Late Mr Hispreaching Son Shylla dedicated his life for the service of the people and helped transform many lives especially the downtrodden. On behalf of the officers and staff of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly, I would like to offer my deepest condolences to the bereaved family.
