Meghalaya to get four new Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas Schools

Shillong, December 04:  The four new District of the state of Meghalaya will get Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas Schools from the central government to be set up in each District with thin the next academic session 2017.

This new Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas Schools will be set up, one in East Jaintia Hills, The South West Khasi Hills, North Garo Hills, and South West Garo Hills District. The government of India this year has sanction sixty four new JNVs school in the country and four is Meghalaya.

The objective of this central school is to admit students in this central school through common entrance test for Class Five students that will be promoted to Class six, students who pass the entrance test are screen whether fit to admit in this JNV School.

The aim of the central government is to have one JNV school in each District in the country except in some state in the south India where they opposed to the Hindi language. One of the compulsory subject in the JNVs school is the Hindi subject.
