Shillong, May 05: Meghalaya Union of Journalists (MUJ) president Mr Starfing Ppdahkasiej distributed three ply surgical masks to hawkers association president Mr Sebastian Shabong for the newspaper hawkers to discharge their duties smoothly and safely.
This step was taken by the Union keeping in mind the risk of spread of corona virus after some relaxation was given by the government on public movement. There is a fear that after this decision people may gather on the street and it may affect the hawkers, said Mr Raju Sharma General Secretary MUJ.
