Shillong, May 04: The Inspector General of Police, (TAP), Cum-Chairman (CRB) has informed that it has come to the notice of the Central Recruitment Board that fake advertisement of posts in Meghalaya Police is in circulation in social media and internet.
The Central Recruitment Board of Police Department hereby clarifies that no advertisement has been issued by the Board. An FIR has been filed by the Member Secretary, Central Recruitment Board for investigation and taking necessary action against the unknown persons who circulated the fake advertisement.
All advertisements and notices issued by the Central Recruitment Board will be available in the official website of Meghalaya Police. The members of the public are requested not to respond to any such fake advertisements which are not available in the official website of Meghalaya Police (www.megpolice.gov.in).
