New Delhi, Feb 11: The Minister of Consumer affair said that “It has come to the notice of the Department of Food and Public Distribution, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution that a forged letter No. B-120261109/2018/SA dated 29.12.2018 has been issued for appointment of Miss Shalaka Garg as Director (M&CP) in Food Corporation of lndia under the forged signature of Shri Rakesh Kumar, Under Secretary (SA), Department of Food & Public Distribution.
The Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution informed that no such appointment letter has been issued by the Department of Food and Public Distribution and police has been informed to take necessary action in the matter.
