Miss Daniella S Majaw owned “Putt Pirates” set the pace in round one of SGL

Shillong, September 17: Miss Daniella S Majaw owned Putt Pirates  got off to an ideal start at the 1^st round of Shillong Golf League (SGL)  played on 10^th Sept 2017 with an exquisite opening round of 43.5 points with team comprising of Anil Ram,Jonathan Iawphniaw,Mar J Lanong and Master Mohit Subramanium

Mr Siddharth Goenka owned the Daangs comprising of  Rahul Bajaj,Master Lakshya Bajaj ,Mrs Pooja Goenka and Mr Jit Bahadur Chetri were  in 2^nd place with 43.5 points followed by Abhishek Singhania Owned The Ball Washers in third place with 41.5 points with team comprising of Master Sidhanth Singhania,Mr Rudy Warjri,Lt Col Rajat Sharma and Mr Gautam Lama.There was a tie for 4^th place between Col J Singh owned Swigs of Albatross and Anthony Lyngdoh owned Sultans of Swing with 38 points.

The second round will be played on 8^th Oct and third round on 22^nd Oct 2017.  12 of the 17 teams will proceed to round 4 which will be on match play format.   The event is conceptualised by Meghalaya Golf Promoters Society (MGPS) in association with Shillong Club Ltd. (Golf Section)
