Shillong, September 27: The Border Guard of Bangladesh (BGB) today stops the survey party from India while doing their survey work on border fencing at the Indo Bangladesh border at Tamabil of West Jiantia Hills District.
The matter was taking up by the Border Security Force (BSF) with the higher level of the BGB and the flag meeting was held today at Tamabil after the meeting, the BGB admit that there is misunderstanding from their side since the new unit had just taken over.
The Deputy Commissioner of West Jaintia Hills District Mr Arunkumar Kemphavi told SP News Agency that the matter has been sorted out after the meeting between the BSF and the BGB today, since the new unit from the BGB did not know the protocol.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the survey on the border fencing at the Dawki area will continued from tomorrow.
