Shillong, August 31: The Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee, sudden demise of Veteran Congress Men Ma NEIGRIHMS. While talking about the qualities of head and heart, of Late Syngkon, MPCC observed that, he was one of the oldest member of Congress in Meghalaya apart from being a senior member of the Meghalaya High Court Bar Association.
ln his long association with Congress Late Syngkon had held the positions of President of erstwhile18-Mawkhar Constituency, President, Shillong City Congress Committee, General Secretary of Meghalaya PCC and Chairman of Party’s Legal Department.
At the time of his demise he was the Chairman of MPCC Disciplinary Committee, he had discharged his duties and responsibilities with utmost impartiality, without fear or favour, affection of ill to anyone. MPCC observed that he was very friendly helpful to each and everyone and always discharged his duties with smile on his face.
He was always available to discharge any kind of duties and responsibilities of the party even at the last moment. Members, while praying to the Almighty to grant eternal repose to the departed soul, observed that the void caused due to the death of Late Syngkon would be very difficult to fill.
The MPCC further prayed to the Almighty to grant solace and strength to the beraved family to bear the sreat loss May his soul rest in peace, said Mr James Lyngdoh Working President of the MPCC in the press statement.
