Tura,November 18: The former Chief Executive member of the Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC) Mr Denang T Sangma demanded that the present CEM of the GHADC Mr Boston Ch Marak should resign for non payment of the salary of the District employees.
“ What pain me most, is that when I come to know that the present executive committee of Mr Boston has take the decision to made lumsam payment of Rs.5000/- and Rs.3000/- to its employees, if this is the condition what will happen to the school going children’s of employees” he said.
The Former CEM demanded that the present executive committee should pay the salary of the GHADC employees on the coming month December, but he did not put the date by when. As the former CEM of the GHADC he is sad to learn about the decision of the present executive Committee to pay a lump sum amount to the employees when their salary was not paid for 14th Months.
Mr Denang also said during his tenure as the CEM of the JHADC he has engaged the Hyderabad Centre for Good Governance, to bring reforms in the GHADC in all the departments, during his tenure all the formalities has been completed just to implement for the betterment of the GHADC but what wrong with the present EC.
The people of Garo Hills love the party Congress, but the Congress party did not deliver to the expectation of the people of Garo Hills. The GHADC need immediate reform in all sectors to revamp the overall functioning of the District Council.
