Mr Conrad took stock of the situation in the wake of severe hailstorm hit the State

Shillong, March 30: The Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma today took stock of the situation in the wake of severe rain and hailstorm in different parts of the State.

He personally spoke to DCs of several districts to get first hand information of the situation and have asked the Disaster Management and Revenue Department to assess the situation.

“All possible measures will be taken to provide relief to the affected families”, said the Chief Minister.

He has directed the Chief Secretary and Additional Chief Secretary Revenue and Disaster Management to immediately submit a report.
