Shillong, March 14: The outgoing Superintendent of Police East Khasi Hills District Mr M Kharkrang today hand over charge to Mr Davis N.R. Marak as the Superintendent of police East Khasi Hills District Shillong at the function the office of the superintendent East Khasi Hills District.
Mr Kharkrang was the Superintendent of Police, East Khasi Hills, Shillong after a continuous tenure of 6 years 6 months in East Khasi Hills which included as Superintendent of Police (City) Shillong for 1 year 8 months and as Superintendent of Police, East Khasi Hills for 4 years 7 months.
The Outgoing Superintendent said that, “ I feel that my handing over will not be complete without Thanking You for all the support you had given me throughout my term. After having spent, 15 years out of 20 years of my Police career in East Khasi Hills District”.
He further said, “I take this opportunity to also thank all the members of Civil Society, Schools, College, different religious groups, Localities, Villages and public of East Khasi Hills District who have been the main support to all our Police work and am left without doubt that this relationship will continue to grow”.
