Shillong, Sept 29: The Police of West Jiantia Hills District received a complaint from Mr Handibad Khyriem of Pdengshakap village, West Jaintia Hills lodged a complaint that on the month of July this year, one Mariabait Marboh agreed to supply ten buffalos to him at the rate of Rs. 4,70,000/-.
Both the complainant and Mariabait Marboh went to Jorabat, Ri Bhoi, where Mariabait Marboh made an agreement with one person identified as Mr Sohaib to supply the cattle. Later, on seeing the cattle, the complainant paid Rs. 4,70,000/- to Mariabait Marboh.
However, the cattle were not delivered to the complainant and the whereabouts of Mariabait Marboh is not known.
