Shillong, May 07: The General Council Meeting of the All Meghalaya Karate-Do Association was held on Saturday the 5 th May, 2018 at 10:30 A.M. at YMCA Hall, Mawkhar, Shillong. Shihan Bidhan B. Subba, Joint Secretary, Karate Association of India and Shri P. Laloo, Executive Member, Meghalaya State Olympic Association attended the said General Meeting as observers.
The meeting was preside by Dr. J.S. Jyrwa, Ex-President of the Association. The name and designation of Office Bearers elected for the year 2018 – 2022 , they are Mr Hunlang Lytan President, Mr Brian Wallang Working President , Mr Banshanlang Kharumnuid Vice President ,Mr Damang Syngkon Vice President, Mr Ksan Kupar Warjri General Secretary, Mr Arjun Sewa Jt. Secretary, Mr Greater E.M. Kharpuri Jt. Secretary,Mr Albert Kharkongor Treasurer, Mr Alister Kharwanlang Publicity Secretary.
The others office bearers are Mr Mingson Rymbai Organising Secretary,Smti Ester M Lyngdoh Assistant Organising Secretary ,Mr Donboklang Lyngdoh Technical Director, Smti Linza F. Syiem Chairman Referee Commission Executive members, Mr Edelbert Lyndem, Smti Basuklin Rina, Mr Lamphrang Warjri, Mr Iasyllokki Lyngdoh, Mr Subhash Chanda, Mr Edwilbert Nongkynrih, Mr Frederick Shangpliang, Mr Glikerius Buhphang and Mr Daebor M. Kynta.
